Overall objective: To supervise, develop, and enhance e-learning curricula and performance.

Tasks:

  •  Develop and implement the agency's activity plans, ensuring their successful execution.
  • Enforce regulations and instructions for effective e-learning management.
  • Promote awareness about the significance of e-learning in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of university education processes.
  •  Manage and enhance the university's technical systems used for e-learning.
  •  Coordinate with faculties and scientific departments to streamline e-learning processes.
  •  Digitally develop educational programs, courses, and training activities.
  •  Conduct necessary training activities for university staff on electronic education in collaboration with relevant organizational units.
  •  Contribute to setting priorities in e-learning.
  •  Apply and comply with quality control standards and performance indicators in e-learning.
  • Participate in identifying the human resources, equipment, and material needs for e-learning and monitor their availability.
  •  Collaborate in identifying the training needs of deanship staff for suitable training programs.
  •  Prepare regular reports on the agency's activities, achievements, and proposals for performance enhancement.

 

Technical Affairs Vice Deanship

Overall objective: to oversee and enhance the electronic system and technical operations associated with the field's e-learning and distance-learning activities

Tasks:

  • Implementing approved plans and programs.
  • Applying regulations and instructions on technical affairs management to the activities of the deanship.
  • Overseeing the preparation and evaluation of technical infrastructure in coordination with relevant organizational units.
  • Supervising and executing electronic systems projects related to deanship activities.
  • Monitoring the maintenance and operation of the e-learning and distance learning modules.
  • Supervising electronic and distance learning classrooms and laboratories, ensuring constant readiness.
  • Monitoring and maintaining closed-circuit television systems, ensuring continuous readiness.
  • Developing technical project specifications, studying offers, and collaborating with relevant units to implement them.
  • Supervising audio and video engineering work related to electronic education and distance learning activities, recording lectures for later broadcast.
  • Managing television broadcasting between the deanship and other entities, both internally and externally.
  • Overseeing the continuous maintenance, development, and improvement of hardware, software, and internal networks.
  • Providing technical support to university employees and educational projects.
  • Proposing specialized training programs for technical and technical aspects, referring them to the appropriate entity within the secretariat.
  • Participating in identifying human resources, equipment, and material needs and monitoring availability.
  • Identifying training needs for deanship staff and nominating them for suitable training programs.
  • Preparing periodic reports on deanship activities, achievements, and proposals for performance development.
